  1. I have never created a DVD video before and I'm a total noob. I've read a lot of how to's and tutorials on this website over the past 24 hrs and now I'm in need a little assistance. The following is a list of what steps I've taken. Please tell me if there are easier ways as I have no idea, really I'm just stabbing in the dark.

Saved a streaming video using NetVideoHunter in Firefox resulting in a file named video.flv

Converted video.flv using SUPER to DVD Std Compliant (VOB) resulting in a file called VTS_01_0.vob.

To perform the next step I had to rename the file VTS_01_1.vob

Used IfoEdit to create an IFO and BUP.

Used ImgBurn to create an ISO

Used DVD Decrypter to burn the ISO to a DVD.

The DVD will play on my computer using VLC Media, but my home player seems to reject it. Of course VLC seems to play almost anything, so I'm unsure of whether or not I have taken any of the right steps to make this is a compliant DVD. Any help or pointers would be much appreciated.

Home player is a Magnavox Blu-Ray Player model NB500MG9

Use DVD Flick or AVStoDVD to convert to a DVD/ISO directly. Burn with Imgburn.

Don't use super to convert to vob and not ifoedit for any authoring. Not that reliable.
