I have several wireless mouses, some work well, like my Verbatim versions as my PC is about fifteen feet away. Others like the Microsoft, only seem to have a range of a couple of feet. All my older ball mouses went in the trash. All my other mouses are wired laser versions.

I do have one Wacom touchpad, but I don't use it very often. I disabled the touchpad on my laptop as I find it clumsy and it gets in the way of my typing most times. No trackballs.

Wired and wireless MS Intellemouse Explorers (some with laser mode) on all my Windows machines (even laptop).

I must have that thumb "Back" button and 2D scroll wheel.

The worse thing about the Mac is reto mouse thinking. That and the single corner window resize. Hate it.

    wireless laser.
got 2 programmable buttons on the side that I have set up as copy & paste
side to side scrolling on the wheel = awesome.
it's a big-ass Micro$oft wireless laser 6000 - I'm so glad that at least one company makes big mice for those of us who come in adult sizes.
i'm not a big fan of their software often times, but I love thier hardware.

I know what you mean. Spent 30+ minutes at Microcenter touching every mouse they had. Seems like they only sell mice for children. Same with the keyboards. Getting harder to find a Full Sized keyboard. With the full sized 3x2 (not 2 across 3 down) six button insert/home/page up delete/end/page down in the right location. They also seem to have mini backspace and enter keys as well

I have two wireless Logitech mice but they behave stupid sometimes ... so to keep things more reliable more often ... I have been using a wired mouse ... with the big letters ... DELL ... on it.

Having a DELL mouse dont really mean anything ... it just happen to be handy to grab from the shelf and use it ... so it stays close by and every so often I will use the wireless mouse ... which is also close by. 6 feet away at the spot where I work and build PCs ... is another wired optical mouse ... the name on that one is ... ACER.

And at another PC build / work station ... [but at the time is cluttered with boxes and such and cannot be used for building PCs is a Logitech wired mouse.

OH .... I do my PC building / messing around ... in my garage ... its a 3 car garage ... I guess I'm special ... the other houses around me ... they all have two car garages
