  1. Hi can anyone please help ?

    I have a camcorder that records in MPEG-4 format I want to burn this to a DVD-RAM and play it on my Blueray player which only plays AVCHD, Im not fussed about the quality too much.

    Load the mp4 into multiavchd and author to avchd and welcome to the forums.

  4. what kind of mpeg-4 ? there are several kinds. use mediainfo

    if it's not AVCHD compatible h.264 , then it has to be re-encoded to be compliant (quality loss , slower).
    if you have to re-encode it, you could try avchdcoder

    if it is compatible , then you can just mux it with tsmuxer (no quality loss, very fast)

  5. it is HD MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 video - I have a Panasonic DMP-BD80 bluray I just want to put the video onto a DVD-RAM so I can play it on the BLURAY player - not too fussed about the quality etc.

    Then it sounds like you should be able use Tsmuxer or multiavchd as suggested. Click on them for guides.


    If they are too complicated you can use trialwares like tmpgenc authoring works to output an avchd/blu-ray.
