I believe the first PCI Express cards arrived at the end of 2004 so a computer bought in 2005 might still have been AGP. I think you can tell which by going to Control Panel and selecting Display -> Settings tab -> Advanced button -> Adapter tab -> Properties button -> General tab. The Location field on my PCIe system says "PCI Slot 4". I don't have any AGP based computers around anymore but I think it would say AGP there.

havent looked in it yet but did go to display under location this is what it has though PCI bus 0, device 2, function 0
this is the card Mobile Intel(R) 4 Series Express Chipset Family -
that was under display adapters in the device mgr then went to its properties

If so, it seems like you are using a motherboard display chipset.
