GOTSent problem with converting AVIs to MPEG4s...

hi there, i'm having a problem with the gotsent program. its the latest version too... 24b7... before i was able to convert my avi files to mpeg4s but now it does nothing and stays frozen. before the command prompt window would show telling me of its progress but not anymore. any help? thanks!

Before? an older version or?

Easiest is probably to try another app. Handbrake is a very good avi to mp4 converter.

always been the same version 24b7... i had no problems with gotsent till this avi conversion problem showed up... besides how is handbrake with mkv to mpg4 conversions...? lossless quality or so...?

What? is your source an avi or mkv? And what video and audio codecs does it contain? It might have to reconverted to be a standard mp4. Use mediainfo to check.

What are you going to play it on? If ps3 try mkv2vob instead of gotsent.

my source is an AVI file... according to mediainfo on the file tryin to convert... the video is AVC... audio is MPEG Audio (MP3)...

and yes i am playing my files on ps3... i am just tryin to stick one program that converts MKVs and AVIs tho...

another thing to mention is that the problem even happens to all my other AVI files that ive converted before as well when using gotsent... weird...
