Hello everyone, I was hoping someone could help me out here.
I've got a 1280x960 video with fading images in the background, and fairly small overlaid text in the foreground. The text needs to be rendered pretty much pixel perfect to be readable. I've made the video in Premier CS4.
I'm trying to put this on a 19 inch Digital Photo Frame with a resolution of 1280x960 - you can see the frame here . However I can't seem to encode it in a format that will a) be high enough resolution to read the text and b) still play on the frame (it can't cope with massive files)!
Can anyone recommend the best way to try to encode this file so that it's likely to play and be clear. The frame seems to take divx but if I make a 1280x960 divx it can't seem to play it...
I've got a little experience in the past with encoding videos (I have used ffmpeg, virtual dub on PC, handbrake, visualhub on a Mac). But I'm a little out of touch with the lastest codecs etc.
Any help would be greatly appreciated,
James

I'm pretty sure you are limited to SD resolutions(max 720x576/480pixels) for video.
