  1. See above:

    ---> http://home.gna.org/gaupol/index.html

    Gaupol is an editor for text-based subtitle files. It supports multiple subtitle file formats and provides means of correcting texts and timing subtitles to match video. The user interface is designed with attention to batch processing of multiple documents and convenience of translating.

    Gaupol should run on all Unix-like (GNU/Linux, *BSD, etc.) operating systems and on Windows. Technically, it should run on Mac as well, but that has not been tested nor made convenient. Gaupol's user interface is based on the GTK+ toolkit and has been designed to best fit the GNOME desktop environment.

    Gaupol is free software released under the GNU General Public License (GPL).

    Best regards.

    Use this https://www.videohelp.com/toolsedit?newtool=1 to submit new tools. Might be a bit quicker to get things going that way.
    Linux _is_ user-friendly. It is not ignorant-friendly and idiot-friendly.

  5. Hi, dear all.

    Just for curiosity I tried to use this program. And I'm having some problems with it.

    When I try to follow the tutorial explained on the video below, I can't "enable" the feature to load VIDEO. Nor Audio feature too.

    Do you know how to solve this?

    I have VLC installed on my PC.

    PS: such program has audio bar feature to help finding a precise begin / end of each speech, just Like Aegisub or Subtitle Edit?

    Best regards.
