Been trying to convert several .mkv files to .vob with mkv2vob to play on my PS3, and when i tried setting the transcoding codec to x264, the video would play at around 5x the normal video speed, but the audio would play at a normal rate. However, when I used MPEG-2 as the transcoding codec, it would work flawlessly..

    Output Type: File
    Preferred audio language: English
    Video Transcoding: automatic
    Preferred subtitle language: english
    File Splitting: none
    Output file extension: vob
Transcoding codec: x264 (Slow) and x264 high bitrate (Slow)

edit: i just tried using MPEG-2 as the transcoding codec for another .mkv to .vob conversion job, and the video plays fine but I noticed the audio is a second or two ahead of the video.

  2. Hate to bump this but I am having the same issue. Does anyone have a fix for this?

Don't really transcode it cause it ends up taking forever. I just usually have all settings on default and then when I play it, it just plays at 5x the speed.
