How to reduce bitrate of Xvid without recompressing or faster than this?

How can i reduce the bitrate of Xvid (because DVD player has hard time very high bitrate parts, usb is not 2.0) without recompressing, or is there any way faster than this?

You can't. The only way to reduce the bitrate of an Xvid is to re-encode it. There is no Xvid equivalent of DVD Shrink, so a full re-encode is in order. You can speed things up by using lower quality settings, but then why bother.

You have given no details on software or methods used, or time taken with these methods, so it is impossible to give you any concrete advice, other than to get a more capable player.
