  1. Hi!

Just wanted to as if it is possible to stream ripped blueray discs with dts hd sound?

I have been trying for some days now but no luck.

Program ps 3 mediaserver and windows xp.

I get the films to run picture is super but no original sound.

Movies are ripped with anydvd in isomode and untouched, i then load them into virtual clonedrive. As written
all ok but no dts hd or subtitels. I would rather not reencode or make other formats. My receiwer is the newest onkyo
    preprocessor wich acceps all formats.

Any help will be welcomed with gattitude.

    Thanks in advance!

I'm assuming you're trying to stream the .m2ts file correct? If that's so, then no there's no way to get the dts-hd audio to work as the PS3 is playing the video in "file mode," which unfortunately only supports regular dolby digital ac3. If you really must have dts-hd sound, then look into getting a large external hard drive and play your movies in AVCHD mode on the PS3 which does support dts-hd and dolby truehd audio.
