    Hello there,

I want to build a guide on how to join ac3 or mp3 (with other languages) in AVI or MKV (with just the natural language from film).

So far, i'm thinking in problems i'll find.

VirtualDubMod will be just fine for AVIs?
How to tune the delay in audio?
Can join MP3 Audio in AVI with AC3? (One AVI with one AC3 and one MP3? It's possible?)
Joining audio in AVIs with 23,976 fps or 25,000 fps? There is any difference?

Joining stuff in AVI is easy... but in MKV?
I know nothing in muxing mkv... there is some guides i can read?
Demuxing MKVs... only way i know so far is mkvtoolnix with MKVextractGUI, but this not always works... there is anothers choices?

Any help is welcome, I'm a video enthusiast and know videohelp for long time.

For avi use AVI_Mux_GUI or MP4Box with YAMB, for MKV, if MKVMerge (from MKVToolnix) has problems, you could try MKV Demux All and then use MKVMerge on the elementary streams.
