  1. Hi everyone!

Could anyone tell me how to make a perfect copy of a DVD9 movie without changing anything (I'd like to keep the menu etc.)?

I've tried it several ways, but kept failing.
First I copied the files from the original DVD to my HDD (simply ctrl+c, ctrl+v), then burned by Nero as Video DVD.
Then I tried DVDShrink, checked every single tracks to keep, but in the end my DVD player (Panasonic DMR-E55 if it helps) still can't play it.

(PS: I wrote it on a DVD-RDL disk, is this the problem??)

Well first off if its a original, its encrypted, so you need something like dvdfab decrypter or anydvd to break the encryption and to put the data on your hard drive, then i would just burn it back to a dual layer with nero of any other burning program, dvdshrink will break the dual layer layer switch, don't use it for dual layers. I've only used dvd+r dl for 1:1 backups, they seem to be most compatible.

    Best of luck,

DVDFab Decrypter or AnyDVD are recommended because some DVDs use newer anti-disc copying methods that older decrypters like DVD Decrypter don't understand. Basically you want to rip to ISO if possible and burn with ImgBurn (forget Nero - just causes problems). And use ONLY Verbatim DVD+R DL discs or you will post here crying about why your burns aren't working.

Please check the guides section. I would expect us to have guides on how to do what you want.

They are the only ones that don't suck. Not all blank discs are created equal.
    Memorsux for example.

    Do NOT use nero!!!

Use Imgburn to burn a DL+R, as i am sure you do not actually have -R!!

    And once again, VERBATIM!!!
Any money you think you will save by buying cheaper crap DL disc's, will soon end up costing you more $$ then you saved!!
