    hi guys
    just after a quick free easy to use program for some simple editing of mp4 video off my ipod nano
    i need to just do a few cuts and changing the view( its shot landscape but the video plays sidewards..so i need to turn it on its side)
    nothing major

    doesnt have to stay in mp4 format
    if its easier to convert and edit in another format and program, please let me know

    still cant work out how to flip a video upside down or sideways!!!!!!!
    how frustrating
    its only when i film with the nano, sometimes it doesnt automatically change the the way it records it

    Video-Filters-Rotate Filter. Select the angle, then save a new version of the video.

    You will have to re-encode the video. If you leave the Video in Copy mode, you won't get the filter applied. Remember to add.mp4 to the end of the video name when you save the video.

    cant seem to find the right settings to re encode the video either to avi or mp4

    Under Video, change Copy to whatever container you want to use, then configure it, Same for Audio.

    thats what i cant work out
    i did that using differnet combos ...it never worked when clicking on the final file. said the video was unrecognizable or something along those lines.
    tried converting them to avi, staying as mp4 etc
    very frustrating
