  1. sup, I hope someone can help me out in making this autorun svcd>
    I read the faq for making my own autotun CD, I copied and pasted this lines into my new .INF file

    [autorun]
    open=start mplayer2.exe /play /close \MPEG2\avseq01.mpg

    when i made my svcd, some kind of windows player poped up (not windows media player) something like it, and it says that couldn't played the files? So what i tried to do was to change in the sentence that said mplayer2.exe in the .inf file so it will look like this

    [autorun]
    open=start powerDVD.exe /play /close \MPEG2\avseq01.mpg

    putting my powerDVD aplication but instead of getting powerdvd i get the ms-dos prompt when I put my svcd and i can't even read what it says because it only shows up for like a second, but i can read something like this "couldn't find file" or something like that.
    So what can i do for making my autorun cd using other aplication?

    First "start" opens a new commandline if I remember correctly, so skip "start". Also skip "/close", you don't want to close the app! You will have to click the X button when the movie is done.

    Try this.
    open=powerDVD.exe /play \MPEG2\avseq01.mpg
    or
    open=\MPEG2\avseq01.mpg

    I don't know if it will work.

  4. I wanted to do the same thing you did, but here is what did and i hope it helps. I took an existing cd that i know has the file "autorun.ini" in it and loads up when i load it into my pc. I simply copied the "autorun.ini" from my cd and then pasted over to a place on my harddrive, anyplace will work.When you get read to burn your svcd,( i prefer to use NERO) move that "autorun.ini" file over to a file folder in Nero called CDI. Then burn your svcd. I have been using this way for about and have no problems. Just pop it in and it starts playing. I would like to hear your results so please reply.

    Yo man! Great Idea, i tried something similar: When my svcd came out with the autorun messed up, I went to my cd rom directory and tryed to fix the .inf file by adding the line powerDVD.exe it said that it couldn't, for some windows stuff, like when you try to move a .vob file to other directory and u can't (if u could you wouldn't need a ripping program :P )
    so i assumed I couldn't moved or changed the .inf file but now i tried it and just copy and pasted it!
    I can't try your method yet because I still need some more videos to fill the CD, but the only think that i'm not sure about is that the sentence written in the inf. file of other cd "i picked rush hour 2 dvd" is different than the one that i use, but if u say it works then it would be great!
    I think it will be very, very useful>
