[FFMPEG] mpg > jpg , not all frames is outputted

Hey folks

I have a question you might be able to answer me..

I have this mpg, its 25 fps, 20.000 seconds, 500 frames , this is the info i get from Mediainfo and Gspot.

When i try to convert the video to jpg

ffmpeg -i myVideo.mpg -y frame%%03d.jpg

Only 494 frames is outputted! why is that?

Using your exact param string, it could be related to the version you are using. It worked for me, with this version, rev9767, but I don't know where you can download..try google.

note, your posted string has two %% signs, only needs one, at least in my test, the two stopped with an error message.

the double %% is because i'm running the command from a bat. if i use single %, the name of the bat file is used in the filename.

Hov can i check the rev of my FFMEG?
