i put in a DVD, run DVD Decrypter (default settings), it puts all the files in a folder. i then run DVD Shrink and point it to that folder but it says "DVD Shrink encountered an error. Failed to open VTS_01_0_VOB. The system can not find the file specified"
I'm sure it's me and not the software/hardware; what am i doing wrong?
thanks
charles

DVDDecrypter is OLD and no longer updated. Stop using out of date software on new(er) Hollywood releases.
-
Yep. Rip it with the newest version of DVDFab HD Decrypter (the ripping function of the software is free), and then see if DVD Shrink can open it.

Try opening the DVD with DVDShrink, if you get the same error then it's the DVD. DVDDecrypter will rip most newer DVD's but it has problems with Disney, Sony and Lionsgate DVD's. Use DVDFab Decrypter or AnyDVD on problem DVD's, also ripping just the main movie will solve many problems.

i went with DVDFab 6 and it worked great, and i don't even need to use DVD Shrink.
thanks
