Does anyone out there know the EXACT size if the CCD on a SONY HDR-FX1 in milimiters? I am doing a 3-D match move for a sequence I shot on my FX-1. I am using a software called Maya and need to know the size of the filmback wich, in this case, refers to the size of the CCD. The average filmback size for 35mm is 9.875 x 7.351. I think I need it measured to the thousandths decimal. The 1/3" the manual gives is not going to cut it. Anyone have this info. Have not been able to find it anywhere. Any thoughts?
Would the same measurements would be used for DV?
I need the filmback/CCD dimensions, the CAMERA aperture.
Not the standard 1/3" 1,170,000 pixel figures you see in the manual. I already checked that.
For an instance the cannon XL-1 Specs are:
Chip size- 6.08 X 5.00 mm
Image area- 4.82 X 3.64 mm
Thanks.
