jyeh74 at this point I think this is the best advice for you. Either take it to a pro and have them clean it or re-format windows and start fresh.Originally Posted by aedipuss

Or you can just type NTLOAD into google and just go from there.

freebird, yeah I guess the best thing to do is reformat. Is there any free programs I should immediately install that automatically keeps these viruses and malware from getting into computer when browsing? I know these programs can do a full scan on your computer, but none prevents real time (automatic prevention)
So many programs, does anyone really know what works and what doesnt? (as apparent that Malwarebytes AntiMalware and SUPERantiSpyware didnt work for my situation- even though these two are recommended by everyone) -
For anti-virus software, I use Avast! on my main machine, but have also used AVG and Avira. They all have free versions (you may have to look close at their websites to find 'em, but they're there). Use only one, as multiple AVs can conflict with one another.
I also use Malwarebytes and SAS, but to do occasional manual scans. I don't keep them running all the time.
Also, staying virus/malware free also requires you to be a bit more diligent about where you surf, what you download, what you install, etc. Software alone won't do it. Develop good habits *and* use SW to help.
And, I agree with aedipuss and freebird, at this point nuking and starting over may be the best solution. -
Hi Jim44 and everyone else, thanks for the comments and help. Are free anti-virus programs good enough? i.e. is it worth paying for Norton or McAffee?
-
Spybot is about the only freeware anti-spyware I know of that has realtime protection. Both Malewarebytes and Superantispyware have realtime protection in their pay programs. If you are prone to getting bugs like this then I would say that it would be money well spent to splurge for the registered version of either Mbam or SAS.
Do this
From a clean computer purchase a license for either MBAM or SAS
Disconnect Computer from the internet (physically remove the ethernet cord)
Re-format disc and re-install windows
install antivirus (Avast is what I use)
install your anti-malware/spyware that you bought
Reconnect your internet
imediately update A/V and anti-spyware/malware
download and install firefox
install the add-on adblock plus for firefox
forget that you even have internet explorer installed - only use it for windows update!
use firefox for browsing
Visit Windows Update and download all the latest security patches/updates/service packs
Download paragon drive backup (free version if fine) and make a full image backup either to dvd or a spare hard drive if you have one.
Make a rescue boot disc with paragon backup
Becareful where you surf from now on. Change your habits.
Also there is really no reason to cross post. Keep the topic here rather than putting this in another thread.

Stay the hell away from Norton and McAfeeDonadagohvi (Cherokee for "Until we meet again") -
jyeh74, follow freebird73717's advice to the letter.
(Well done sir; I may print that as a reminder when doing tech support for my less-computer-literate friends)

I would add to freebird's post to go to Windows Update and get all the latest updates.

@Jim44 - Thanks
@jyeh44 - I've sent you a PM.

Freebird gave some excellent advice, which I suggest you follow. I would also add that you need to regularly clean out your Temp directories.
Which brings me to your original error msg, which is not a virus problem, exactly. The message states that a file is NOT being loaded. Most likely a malware file that was removed, but the instruction to load is still there. The instruction by itself does no harm with the file gone. I would also bet money that the file was located in a temp directory. Also quite possible that this file was the original source of problem, which brings me back to regularly cleaning the Temp directories.
Instructions like this are often left-over from a malware cleanup. CCCleaner should remove this entry. I hesitate to recommend Regedit cleanup at this point in your experience level.
