Hello everyone, hope all is well.
This is what I am wanting to do and what I think I have come up with so far.
I have 1 computer, 1 cable box and 4-5 LCD tv's.
I want to (of course) have the cable showing on each TV and also want the ability to show my custom html ad's show on the TV through out the day as well overriding the cable when they are set to come up.
What I was planning on doing is having a 1-4 VGA amplifier going from the computer to the TV's and the cable coming into the computer through a TV card.
I will need to write a batch file or something that will launch these html/video files at certain times but also close them when done.
Am I right on the setup for the cable and the video from the computer?
thanks for any help you may give!

The basic setup will work, for unencrypted cable. It's the periodic ad display which may be problematic.
Not sure if simply periodically scheduling an ad player to pop over will work, possibly having two outputs and periodically scheduling the TV's to change channels?
I'm thinking you may need to re-start the TV player after the ads run.
Please let us know how it works out, there's bound to be a next guy in line trying to do the same thing.
