Can anyone suggest the best program that is easy to use for beginners to make videos. I have a sony hanycam and want to make music videos. Simple editing and adding mp3 music tracks are me needs.

Since my needs are different than most I couldn't find what I needed on the help thread.
With WMM can you add audio tracks and sync them. Sounds like it may be out of it's range of capabilities.

Maybe you could explain more about what exactly you have in mind. Are you simply trying to take a video and replace the audio track with minor, or no editing, and an alternate audio track? If that's the case Vegas Home Movie Studio would be simple. You can try it by downloading the demo version from the sony vegas website (30 day trial).

Yes with one audio track, if you need more tracks or overlays then try the others I mentioned.

WMM is junk that comes with Windows.

Look instead at Adobe Premiere Elements or Sony Vegas Studio. Both are made specifically for consumers with DV cameras, as intro-level editing tools.
