Also, remember that the S-VHS-C originals will be far higher quality than your VHS copy - so even for the footage that you have copied onto VHS, you should really have it transferred from the S-VHS-C original (if it exists).

That is a S-VHS recording played back on a VHS deck. Period. VHS does not have ability to handle the increased FM deviation that S-VHS has ( for the wider Y bandwidth) so the processing circuits can't accept this increased swing.
Why are ones and zeros so complicated? Linear Video Editing was easier. Downloading & streaming are two different things. -
Most ebayers will ship outside thier stated areas if you approach nicely.
As has been said, use a service to get your tape transferred why go to all the heartache for one tape or even 20 !PAL/NTSC problem solver.
