    Hi,
Just formatted my computer and reinstalled Ulead and having a problem. Some of my MP3 files, which I use for background music, are coming up "file format mismatch" and some work fine. All the MP3 files are the same format/bit rate. Not sure why only certain ones don't work. As for the ones that work, I can't play them in the authoring, what I mean is if I try to listen to the MP3 file to set a start/end spot on the file it only plays the first second or so and then stops. Not sure why that is either. Do I need a codec or something. It never did these things before the format. Help please!!!!

I'd guess it's a codec issue. Maybe you should run Windows Updates via going to the website via Internet Explorer and download all the codecs. Another thing I could think of is turning off your anti-virus when installing programs or running windows updates. These are just guesses.
