I am trying to convert the BD Movie Terminator Salvation that I have already ripped to my HDD PC with AnyDVD HD v6606, with BD Rebuilder v03105 and It comes an error like this below:

    --
    [17:21:17] BD Rebuilder v0.31.05 (beta)
    - Source: TERMINATOR_SALVATION
    - Input BD size: 25,48 GB
    - Approximate total content: [01:54:46.712]
    - Target BD size: 22,90 GB
    - Windows Version: 6.0 [6000]
    - MOVIE-ONLY mode enabled
    - Audio Settings: AC3=1 DTS=1 HD=0 Kbs=640
    [17:21:19] PHASE ONE, Encoding
    - [17:21:19] Extracting A/V streams [VID_00100]
    - Extracting A/V to M2TS [VID_00100]
    - [17:25:59] ExtractAudioSubs() 00053 1605
    - Error in attempt to extract audio/subs.
    - Muxing time: 4 min 43 sec
[17:26:47] - Failed to retrieve audio, aborted

This error happened with BD 25 BD 5 and BD 9 Movie only or full backup.

I have selected one audio track and one subtitle track only tried a lot of combinations of audio trakcs and subtitle and I got always the same error for all backups!!

    What to do.

Has someone have an ideia what is happening!!

    Thanks in advance!!

Complementing this is the error with BD9 movie only!!

    BD rebuilder gives this message:

    Any ideia, thanks!!

  3. Try an earlier build of BDRB. Version 31.02 worked for me the last time I did a backup. One thing gets fixed and something else breaks, it's beta. The error in extracting audio and subs was supposedly fixed in v. 31.05, but evidently not. :P

It also would do no harm to re-install ffdshow and Haali.

Have you done any rebuilds successfully or is this your first try?

    Good luck.

    fritzi93 first thanks!!

I have done quite a lot of rebuilds with total success!!

For demonstrate it I just now rebuild part of the film below Horsemen, see the copy of the report without any problems!! With same version of BD Rebuilder.

The only difference I saw in audio is that movie horsemen is audio true hd multi - ch and terminator salvation is dts hd xll multi - ch!!

But i think at past i have done many rebuilds with that audio dts hd xll with success!!

    So what could be???

  5. In Setup, what are your settings for audio? Are you keeping HD audio or re-encoding?

I didnt change anything all settings are default i mean on BD Rebuilder!!!

Perhaps could it be an AnyDVD fault because the last rip was done with ANYDVD version 6606 and other movies like Horsemen with prior versions of AnyDVD!!!

Now is complicated how to know??

    You have that right.

If it were me, I'd try extracting movie only with tsMuxer or Clown_BD, directly from disc, not the rip. Just to see if AnyDVDHD isn't buggering something. If it gets movie only, and it plays correctly, then I'd try BDRB again.

Anyone out there rebuilt this disc?

Okay, I had a look at the looong BDRB bug report thread (313 pages ) at Doom9. Starting here:

    http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?p=1349971#post1349971

    Looks familiar? Bad rip?

I used anydvd with bdrb v31.02 without problems. I would try re-installing ffdshow, Haali Media Splitter and avisynth.

IFAIK, bdrb does not have Keep HD Audio (BD-25) as the default. You need to check that box in setup.

Thanks. That saves a lot of guess work.

So re-install the tools, double-check your audio settings, and have a go with BDRB v31.02. Good luck.

I had similar problem in backing up"The Blind Side" movie. I had to use the right combination/version of ffdshow, Haali and avisynth so it could work in BD Rebuilder.

  13. @ FunCo: you have TWO error codes there

    1) Odds are high that the problem is with Haali when those errors arise while extracting audio/subs. Since you have the correct version, try uninstalling Haali, then *delete* the Haali folder in Programs. Then re-install Haali. (I searched the BDRB bug report thread for errors 00053/1605, and that recommendation comes from the author).

    2) Another possibility is that BDRB chose the incorrect *.mpls (movie playlist file). Scan the rip with BDinfo to verify the *.mpls for the main movie This disc doesn't have seamless branching (alternate cuts) does it?. You may have to select "Alternate Playlist" and then select the correct *.mpls.

    3) You have adequate space on the destination hard drive?

    4) It's possible though unlikely that between the file name and working path, the file name is too long. There's a log file similar to yours on the bug report thread, to which jdobbs said:

"This error (53: "Can't find specified file") is happening in a small loop in a renaming process. Look in your WORKFILES folder and see if there is an incredibly long filename in there somewhere. I would expect that it is a name that resulted from the combining of numerous parts for movie-only."

    5) Did you maybe abort the encode, then re-start without cleaning out the working files?

Keep in mind that there can be more than one cause for those error codes. That's all I can think of right now. Give the above a try, one after the other.

  14. Try using this version of haali:

    http://www.jdobbs.net/freeware/MatroskaSplitter.exe recommended by the author.

  15. just got it work

the trick is that the secondary video although it is in an out put of 1080p it is really 480( standard definition) expand all folders to verify>>>>>>>>

next you must down load the latest MatroskaSplitter27032010. run it

next got to your ffdshow go in to the video decoder config.

next change the mpeg2 form disabled to libavcodec
next change the vc-1 from disabled to wmv9

this should take care of it. good luck

fyi i've noticed this probem with warner bros dvd and its affiliates. this change should not affect any futer bd backups because hd is in a mpeg 4 format> so if you come accross any bd with sd special features you are coverd ( and if you come accross any bds with hd special features you are covered because the mpeg 4 decoder is correct. hope this helps
