hi everybody
i have a problem. i bought a dvd player - harman kardon dvd28 recently
i wanted to make it region free and tried to go with hacks i've found around.
when i wanted to check if it's correct and if it changed the region i turned the player into dealer mode.
front buttons don't respond and it doesn't want to eject.
here's what i did
selected [SETUP] on the remote
typed 1211 and went into the [SERVICE MENU]
by accident switched the [DEALER MODE] from OFF to ON
now i can't go back in any way.
is there any way to do it ? or should i go to dealer or service with it ?
i really need your help. i try to manage with it for two days with no results.

Dealer mode is apparently intended to lock all front panel buttons so customers can't mess with anything, or steal the DVD in the player.
Try this -- Enterthe Service Menu by doing the following using the remote
:
POWER ON
SETUP -- (normal setup menu)
1211 -- (should take you to Serive Menu)
ENTER -- (button in center of navigation keys - This should toggle Dealer mode OFF/ON - Set to OFF)
SETUP -- Exit setup mode -- press twice if needed
At this point, front panel buttons should work again.
I have a model DVD 38, and this appered to work.
