I'm looking at some video cards online and seeing a lot of good one's, I think...
I'm starting to favor the ATI Radeon because of the price and also they seem to have much more stream processing units than the nvidia cards.
I'm just wondering what the hell should I be looking for in these video cards? I've been looking at the cards with good numbers in the core clock, memory clock, memory interface, and of course stream processing units but not sure what really matters after reading up on some stuff. Also I like the fact that you can get 1gb for the same price as the 512mb cards but does that matter?
Here's some that I've been looking at because they are in my price range which is less then $100. Please look at the spec's to help me out. Thanks for any reply's and detailed answers would be great, please nothing just based on the card you prefer..

I was "eye ballin'" that HIS 4670 for one of my backup rigs because its hsf is made to dump all the heat outside the case, that would be the one I would get, especially if I were planning on doing any kind of overclocking

The More ram the better i believe and there are many kind of ram gddr 1,2,3,4,5.
4 & 5 are the most recent but these are the for "power hungry" cards to play game. You need a huge PSU, something like 500 watts and higher which is not my case (425watts).So you need to chose wisely...
I'm also looking for a card currently so i gathered a bit of info but i will probably get an Nvidia gt9500 because of Cuda (x264 encoding), and a very good HD support (unlike Ati's cards) I don't play games so...*** DIGITIZING VHS / ANALOG VIDEOS SINCE 2001**** GEAR: JVC HR-S7700MS, TOSHIBA V733EF AND MORE -
All the cards you linked are below average video cards for todays games,if you want to get a decent ati card look for a 4850,all the better ati cards have a 256bit interface and range in the area of 4830,4850,4870 and 4890 with 1gb of ram or more.
The newest ati are 5850,5870 and 5970 in the 256bit interface but are more expensive. If you are playing older games the cards you listed will be good enough but for todays games you need to spend a bit more.
