  1. Hi,

I'm a newbie in capture video thing I had problem by doing convertion with TMPGEnc...

I captured a 2 mins clip by using PowerVCR with MPEG2 setting and then tried to convert it to MPEG1 (VCD template) in TMPGEnc. TMPGEnc said it doesn't support my input file (MPEG2 format from PowerVCR). Did I do anything wrong? Or I need to capture sourse by using certain format of MPEG2 file in order TMPGEnc will accept it? Please help!

    Thanks!

Get a mpeg2 VFAPI plugin or create a dvd2avi project.

I did not say, that you have to convert the MPEG-2 file to avi. Use DVD2AVI as a frameserver. Once again: http://www.vcdhelp.com/mpeg2tovcd.htm
How long does it take? I dont know, it depends on target resolution, filters, etc., etc.
