    Try resize to a standard 16:9(dar 1.777) resolution like 640x360 and then upload.

  3. 856x480 is also 16:9 and looks good on YouTube.

    Thanks to all , but I want my vids to be shown with the right DAR.

    * resizing to 640x360 or other means stretching the image because DAR is not 4:3 or 16:9 , it is 1.87:1

    * Re-cropping means data loss because these vids are cropped before.

    =======
    I found two primary solutions :

    1 - Bad solution ; adding this line in TAGS yttretch=16:9 (the original DAR is not 16:9 but it is near of that)
    ==> this reduces the quality & when I save it , I get the buggy DAR "4:3" 720x576
    as here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vG-OZJ9arkk
    2 - Youtube encoder causes this matter with (Xvid) codec When I tried (AVC/H264) "YOUTUBE recommendation" the problem is solved but with lower quality & higher size.
    as here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p7uMOSQXw_w

    youtube would prefer h264 mp4. start over with the original source and use a higher bitrate if you see quality loss. 4-5 mbps is not unreasonable. with the max filesize now at 1GB per video it's not like you can make it too big.

    Than Q so much , U r right , YOUTUBE reduces the bitrates , so when I increased bitrate , I got the desired quality.
