Sorry, I didn't know what section to put this in; I have an mkv file with h264 video and AAC audio that runs just fine; however, I extracted all the files (including ASS subs) with MKVextract, tweaked some spelling in the subs, and put it all back together with mkvmerge, but now it doesn't run right. The video is going too slow, but the subs and audio are fine. Is there any way I can fix this? I set the frame rate for the video, but it still runs too slow. Any tips?

Dont need to extract all the files, just the subs, add the original mkv and fixed sub and uncheck the original subs and save.

You MUST set the correct FPS value for the video stream otherwise MKVmerge will assume that your video is 25 FPS.
Seeing that you are from the USA there are many chances that your video is either 23.976 FPS or 29.97 FPS or even 59.94 FPS. Use MediaInfo to find out the original FPS of your video stream.

If you add the original mkv you dont need to set the fps, just add the fixed subs, you only need to set the fps when you add the extracted .h264 file.If in doubt just load the mkv into tsmuxergui and it will telll you.

  5. As Brazil stated, the correct FPS is needed the options are under "Format specific options" and use a . instead of , when you input the ftp so it's not 23,976 but 23.976 (it wont merge correctly).

Or you could just extract the .ass file, edit it and put it back in that would probably be the most easy for you.
