    Hello,

    I am tryong to install VLC 1.0.3 and during the installation process, the screen goes either black or white and freezes. I then have to turn it off and reboot.

    Does anyone know why this might be happening?

    I have done some research but cant find any info on this problem.

    I would go to http://forum.videolan.org/ and search or ask there.

    And you can always download a vlc portable that doesn't require any installation. http://download.videolan.org/pub/videolan/vlc/1.0.3/win32/vlc-1.0.3-win32.zip
