    Hi, I had two files, one with a movie and the other with subtitles, I draged the subtitle folder in the movie file, so now I have one folder called sub, when I double click the folder there is 3 files now, the movie with .mp4 one has .idx at the end and the other has .sub if I play the movie on my pc I can see the subtitles ok, but if I burn the movie on to dvd I don't see any subtitles, I hope this makes sence I appreciate your help

    BUT how did you convert it to dvd???? Did you add the sub/idx file?

    I would use dvd flick, add the mp4 and the sub/idx subtitle file.

    thanks for the prompt reply, I didn't convert it, I downloaded the file and burned with convertxtodvd, I think I've messed it up I deleted idx file thinking I only needed the sub file, will I have to download it again

    You can also use ConvertXtoDVD(Yep, it's converting it to DVD). Load the mp4 and then also load the sub/idx under the Titleset->Subtitle.

    I did what you said, I could see the English subtitles in Convertxtodvd, but when it finished burning and I played it, I couldn't see any subtitles, what am doing wronge?

    Did you enable the subtitles in the dvd player? (using your remote control or in the software dvd player). They are switchable dvd subtitles.
