    Hey Guys :

I was wondering if any of you or even Author of software could help me create a working 4.1 or 5.1 AVC profile to maintain 35mbps video bitrate for a video I downloaded and having issues playing .. it's a 28Gb *.Ts file and want to convert it to a *.mkv HD file maintaining its original 35mbps bitrate ...

    Thanks !

If you want to keep the original bitrate, just keep the original file. There is no advantage to making a 35Mb/s H.264 MKV file of it. The size would be the same as the original. Bitrate X time = filesize. H.264 and other highly compressed formats perform best at lower bitrates and you reach a point where more bitrate doesn't add anything to quality, just increases filesize.

But, just use two pass MKV settings and set the output size to 28GB if you want to try it.

I think others may have some better suggestions.

    And welcome to our forums.

Well if I could play the file I have, I wouldn't be asking ... I cannot playback that file I need to convert it to something else maintaining QUALITY !!!! The guy who ripped the BluRay and made that file did something I dunno what but nuthin is being able to playback the file, I either get Sound only, or video only ... So need to convert it to another format maintaining its original Quality !

Other than that using RipBot264 to Rip NBK (Natural Born Killers) from a BluRay ISO a friend gave me as I do not own a BluRay Reader/Burner yet ...

Will see what happens, whilst I wait for someone to make me a descent HIGH 4.1 & HIGH 5.1 Profiles for RipBot264
