  1. I've successfully made my first VCD using VideoWave 4 and burning with Roxio Easy CD Creator, but the format size of the video seems to be changing. If I view the video with any software on the computer that can show mpeg, it shows correctly with a 320x240 size. (it does have black bars at the top and bottom - came off of a minidv cam) When the VCD is played on the DVD player and TV, it plays fine, but you can tell that the picture format (or framing) has been changed. (squished or stretched)

I'm new at this. Can someone let me know why it is changing from what I see on the computer and how to fix it to keep the formatting correct? (even with black bars on top and bottom of screen)

    Thank you very much.

  2. When you Encode the Avi did you use the NTSC setting?

cause i think this is the Defalt size for all Tv stations broadcast so give that a try. cause i remember using PAL and yea it did look stretched

  3. Thanks for the help. We did make sure it was on NTSC, but even that is confussing because it is showing a frame size of 352x240 which is not a 4x3 frame size, but Videowave 4 does not give you an option of changing it. (it says that is the correct standard) Any more ideas???
