  1. Well, I thought I had a problem burning SVCD's originally but I went out and bought a new APEX 5131 DVD player. Now I can't figure out why I can't play the SVCD's I burned on my computer with WINDVD. They play great on the APEX 5131, but WINDVD won't reconize I have a disk in the drive. Do I need a newer version? I got WINDVD when I bought my computer installed with a DVD ROM player. Help! I hate having to burn both a VCD for my computer and an SVCD for my APEX !!

Have you tried open the mpg in the svcd with windvd? Download also the latest windvd, some older versions dont support svcd.
