    Where can i find this codec or a substitute for it?

    i have a avi that im trying to convert down in size just, and i must choose an audio codec for the output
    and mp3 is the only alternative that sounds good? the problem is that the sounds dissapear if you convert 0162 to mp3

    Sorry forgott that, im using "Video Convert Master" lol

    if you just lower the FPS down to 20-25 you get half sized files with good quality with this program

    im not sure i can control that mutch with virtualdub and the endresult, the description howto in that other thread is a bit to rörig for my LQ brain here
