  1. Hello, I am supremely new to this so forgive my ignorance...

I have recently purchased a Canon HF200 camcorder and want to use it to film some interviews. I know of course, that having one microphone hooked up to the camera isn't a problem BUT I was wondering how I would go about hooking up 2 microphones to the camcorder to be able to record both the interviewers and the interviewees voices?

Is this possible? If so, how would I go about this.

Thank you in advance for the help.
I have been hanging out on the forums all afternoon and it's been REALLY helpful!

If the HF200 accepts an external stereo mic as two channel, then a Beachtek box may work. Call Beachtek and ask.

  4. Nice info!
I think the Beachtek one might work. They have an authorized dealer near my house so I will go check it out!

    Thanks so much.
