  1. What can you use to go from avi to mpeg (mpg)?

    I have these 2 avi files which I can't encode to mepg because when I keep trying, it says this
    "source video uses compressed audio. avi2vcd cannot encode compressed audio". Then I tried using TMPGenc and it work with that either.

    I have no clue whats going it. Its just a regular .avi file.

    Is there anyway I can get around this or what else should I use?

  2. All I can suggest is to use Virtualdub to extract the audio to a separate file. Then use TMPEG to mux them together. TMPEG is what most people use to encode AVI to MPG.
