Here is my problem.
I got a mpeg movie in two parts, when I tried to use toast to burn a VCD, it does not recognize part 1, part 2 is fine though. When this happens, I usually do a .mpeg to .mpeg conversion, thanks to VCDGear, and it does the trick. But this time the converted mpeg is not recognized either. The non converted mpeg plays fine in QT though, but not the converted one (crashes my system).
Well I did another conversion, this time .mpeg to .bin. After I was able to go in toast > video CD > select the stream as disk image. I burned the CD, crossing my fingers...and no luck, my player won't recognize it. Also tried to play the .DAT (from burnt VCD) with QT and it crashed my system (like with the converted .mpeg I got on my first conversion).
Is there anything else I can do to convert the .mpeg so it can be toast-compatible?
I know that I can use QT to export it as QT movie and re-export it as a Toast mpeg but I'll loose lots of quality this way.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers.

PS: I also demuxed the mpeg (using bbDEMUX) and muxed it back with WiredMux, the result mpeg this time was recognized by Toast but had white screen and no sound. I checked the blocks, they look fine.
