I'm converting some .flac files to .aiff using Macflac. The conversion is cake although the converted file is a numbered .aiff file. For instance if the flac file is 01.name.flac then the decoded file becomes 01.aiff ... leaving the name out.
Is there a way to get the file name to the converted file??

FWIW - here's what I'm finding. Any file name containing a . (dot), as in 01.name.flac ...... everything after the first dot is truncated, becoming 01.aiff.
If you delete the first dot then you get 01name.aiff. Apparently Macflac does not play well with multiple .'s
