All my video files are in AVI format, they all have that popup come up when I try to add it in D:

And I know it's supposed to work really well, Boilsoft products are all very great, but the Joiner doesn't work for me ><

It's not unregistered, I've already put the... license code... in... @___@?!
Sorry uh, bad English but hopefully you guys understand what I mean? XD

Yeah so bottom line, I don't know what's wrong D:

  2. AVI is a container. A "box" that can hold audio and video with any of hundreds of compression schemes. You probably just need a decompression codec for whatever is in the AVI file. Use GSpot or MediaInfo to see what's in the file.

It's also possible somebody renamed a different type of file with the AVI extension. Most media players can handle this but many editors will not. GSpot and MediaInfo can also tell you if the container is really AVI.

...oh o_o even though I don't understand that but okay.

    I'll try that, thanks~ ^^

    Edit:
Haha I downloaded GSpot but I don't know how to use it...
but that doesn't matter now since the Boilsoft Video Joiner works (weird =\)
it says something about my vids having incompatible data formats now, but I'll solve that later.

    Thanks for the help! ^^

    Hello World,

I'm having the same problem. Boilsoft Video Joiner can't recognize the source file. The program was working just fine before I decided to uninstall DivX and a codec pack...(Yes, I'm a moron)...The .avi file will play in VLC and Winamp, and I've even been able to open the program with a different video joiner, but the trouble is Boilsoft produces the best results. I've installed/uninstalled K-Lite Codec Pack and the DivX codec pack, but at this point I must admit that I've no friggin' clue what I'm doing. So, computer geniuses of the world, what's a brother to do?
