Which of the two is better for Video CD's - or is this a marketing gimmick ?

I'm still looking for the magic CD-R or CD-RW that will play in my relatives standalone DVD players. What works in one doesn't work in another. Everything plays in my $79.00 Apex.

    try princo media http://store.yahoo.com/ioprod/cdrmedia1.html
or digital media brand pc cdr from circuit city
    thats what i use
    its worked every time
and my dvd player a sony dvp
    even says in its manual
    that its not cdr compatible

  4. As i understand it, audio CDRs are subject to an extra tax which is meant to compensate the music industry for loss of profits through CD copying.

Having said that, the tax is not charged on audio CDRs here in the UK.
