I've been working with a Samsung Worldwide VCR for the last week. Thing was working like a charm until tonight. I ejected one tape, put in another and the picture was crap. Put back in the last tape I played and that picture was crap too. Didn't change any settings but it's like there's something suddenly out of whack. Looks like the tracking is way off but it's not. Anyone experience any such weirdness with this model before?

Try aknown good tape and fast forward in play mode, may just be a piece of crap has got in there.
Even try a cleaning tape, gently and not too many times, may need a trip to a fixer, its just like any other vcr really.PAL/NTSC problem solver.

K, cool. It's just got so many bells and whistles, was afraid I rang one.

It needs to be cleaned. This model tends to get dirty often, I don't know why.
A cleaning tape may or may not help.
Look up the proper way to clean a VCR, I don't have time to explain it again. I've done it in past threads through the years.Want my help? Ask here! (not via PM!)
