  1. I have a Sony DVP-S560D and I have created VCD's that play in perfect sync on Windows Media and PowerDVD. However, when I play them on my standalone player the audio is out of sync. I could understand if there was no sync on my dvd playback programs. Is there a special encoding setting to correct this or is it just my DVD player. I have tried Nero, Ulead Video Factory and used the VCD creation setting for both. If the DVD player is not really compatible could someone recommend an all around compatible DVD player with MP3 support?

  2. i´m having the same problem, but in my case i think it´s because i have an ntsc-svcd and a pal-standalone dvdplayer.
the different framerates could cause the audio/video/synchronization-problems...
pal is 25 fps and ntsc 23,97 or 29.97(movie)
but if you ever discover a solution to this problem, please let me now :)
