I dont know what I did, but Ive lost all audio in scrubbing the source, playing back the source, scrubbing the project and playing back the project from within Ulead Media Studio 8 *AND ALL OTHER EDITING PROGRAMS*. Ive got 3 other programs.
I dont know what I did, but I did something somewhere and I cant figure how to get my audio back.
Thanks for any help,
Andrew

Did you install any new codecs or video software recently? Sounds like a DirectShow problem. You could try reregistering the quartz.dll file, in Windows go to Start>Run and type regsvr32 quartz.dll and click OK. Reboot and see if this cures it. If not, try an app such as Filmerit to diagnose/fix any DirectShow problems. "Just another sheep boy, duck call, swan

Nothing fixed it Safe, but I thank you so very much for your willingness to help. A fresh install of XPpro fixed it right up! (As I anticipated HA HA!)

 Cheers,
 Andrew
