I have just removed subtitles from an MKV file using mkvmergeGUI I now want to convert it to AVI but when I processed it through AviDemux I received the following error:

It doesn't seem to matter whether I choose the yes or no option the audio becomes jumpy. I played both the file with subtitles and without and none of them had any issues with audio.

Does anyone know what I need to do to avoid these audio issues and get a successful avi file at the other end?

Try Xvid4PSP, MeGUI or Handbrake instead

    Thanks guns1inger

I had trouble getting the first two to work but Handbrake is a lot easier to use. However I'm still having problems with the audio, it's still pretty jumpy. I'm wondering if there is something I have wrong in the settings.

I've taken a couple of screencaps, does anyone know of something I can adjust in these settings to get the audio working right?

This message still appears whenever inserting an h.264 file. Has anyone sorted this out?

It is not an error, simply a warning, and this only affects the playback within AVI Demux, and not it's encoding.

    Try Xmedia Recode instead.
