Hey there, Ive been encoding Avi's to mpeg now for about 6 months with the most minimal expertise. I now have encountered avis' with AC3 sound and notice when I load the file in tmpgenc that the audio source does not include itself before encoding with the new version of tmpgenc. The older version I had would load audio along with video source but on conversion it would be scratchy and poor quality sound. So my question is how can I encode the AC3 sound format properly so I can put these avis on cd with quality? Is there away to encode th avi as one without getting the crappy sound? Or do I need to encode the Ac3 sound itself before? Very new concept to me and any help would be greatly appreciated . Thanks, BD
