Just installed Win7 64bit. I have had the PCTV HD Stick 801e installed with Vista and was told I could get HD picture through a very long download/workaround/beta version Media Center. I thought they were going to have the issue fixed in Win7 and WMCenter would recognize my QAM signal. (Brighthouse cable in Tampa Bay FL area)
So, my question is, why is WMC still saying I have an ANALOG TV tuner and I am not getting HD. I did not think ANYONE was getting analog signals.
I have not tried using the Pinnicale software yet as it is not Win7 approved. I did not like the format/software before, although it did give me HD. It was very buggy and prone to crashes in Vista, so I can only imagine in Win7.
Any thoughts?

Were you running Vista 64 before when you tried Pinnacle? W7 might work better, but it's unknown. From what I've seen with W7 MC on my 32bit OS, it works better than Vista did.
Just to make things interesting, I found this when I did a search for the device:PCTV Now Offered by Hauppauge Digital
You’ve landed on a page that no longer exists. Avid is happy to announce that its Pinnacle PCTV product line has been sold to Hauppauge Digital, so that each company can focus on its core strengths.
And there are still analog TV signals being broadcast in some areas, but probably not for long. -
I was running Vista 32 bit.
I can't find the article now, but I remember a web page that showed how to download an unreleased version of WMC that recognized QAM (HD) channels. I can't find it now as it was many installs ago for me.
I'm sure I am only recieving digital channels on Brighthouse cable. I'm only getting 01-99. Nothing higher than that -
