How to download flash video RTMP/RTMPE streams using free software

I have a question concerning TubeDigger (an old version, 1.4.5). It used to be very good at getting multiple resolutions of videos, I used it particulary often on mtv.com videos. But a few months ago, after reinstallation, it pretty much stopped working properly, giving only one (for the video in question - 640x360_1200) or none at all. I do know that the video comes as a 1280x720_3500.mp4

To sum up - the problem is TubeDigger stopped detecting all resolutions avaliable, despite having it "ticked" in the Settings (naturally). I'm using Win7 Ultimate, used the same installation file and tried older videos that I have previously downloaded with it. It's not working anymore.

Does anyone know what could have caused this problem? The only resolution I get is 640x360.
Could it by any chance have anything to do with firewall settings? I guess not, since it does see one of the versions.

Also, when I try to download the file with rtmpdump, it finishes at 99,9% - I read that this is essentially kind of a bug in the program and that it's actually complete, but it still worries me a bit. Is it really not corrupt/incomplete? It plays fine, but this doesn't neccessarily mean anything.

I think it must have something to do with my settings (not neccessarily the program's setting, because it doesn't have many options that you can manipulate). Could something like this be caused by security settings? Btw. the problem occures on a Win7 machine and on an old laptop that still runs WinXP. Strange thing is that it used to work just fine a couple months back and I can't decide what could have caused this, because it's not just mtv.com but pretty much every site has those resolution detection problems.

P.s. Is it really normal for rtmpdump to stop/finish the download at 99,9%?

Use youtube-dl. Command line;

Have rtmpdump.exe in the same folder/directory (or path) as the youtube-dl executable.

but chapun67 did get the video he send me an sample and it was the same movie i asked him to get so then i asked how did u get it he said to change user agent and have to create m3u8 URL manually which this part i don't know how to i have changed it to Ipad User agent
