How to download flash video RTMP/RTMPE streams using free software

Hi,

I need help to download any video from www.nonton.com
It's a free streaming site using Wowza engine.

I can get the video's URL from the HTML source code, but don't know how to download it.
For example, from this address: http://www.nonton.com/play/film/into-the-mind-2013/8ZglDzN8T8
The video's URL is:

rtmp://stream.nonton.com:80/vod/mp4:user/13016/intothe_mind2013_360.mp4

Please help.

Oh okay I get it. So the key is to get the "chunklist" code so I can put it on the IDM batch download.

Both ffmpeg and IDM work, and I also know how to download other videos from the site.

I have a problem and here is the situation:

2 weeks ago :
RTMPDumpHelper 1.21 : I was able to donwload streaming site. No problems.

Stream Transport : Only 10 seconds and nothing downloaded after 10 seconds

Now :

RTMPDumpHelper 1.21 : I am not able to download streaming site anymore. I get errors that failed to read rtmpe packet header . Connection closed

Stream Transport : Still can download only 10 seconds and nothing downloaded after 10 seconds . Same as 2 weeks ago


Somebody have an idea what what is wrong?

I'm trying to download an episode from amctv.com.
I'm using RTMPDumpHelper V1.21, which calls rtmpsuck.exe v2.4.

The advertisements (incredibly many!) come from a separate stream from the show. During the advertising breaks (also incredibly many), rtmpsuck times out and does not resume when the show starts playing again. So I can only capture the first segment of 8.

How can I set a longer timeout? Probably 3 to 5 minutes would be needed for all the commercials at each break. I don't see any option in RTMPDumpHelper.

Anyone care to help me with this error on StreamTransport: CRTMPDownload::InnerProcessDataDriverExp::Data-driven threads stopped unexpectedly because of (CRTMPStream.cpp:225:Failed to recv data.Error:(10054:Unknown error).).

It seems like no matter what I do, no matter how many times a try, the download always ends up incomplete at a certain %. WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO?! Seriously, initially the download starts just fine, but then at some point it always cuts off. It is of course a relatively lengthy (over an hour) video, so that also makes the download time longer. But still, what is this? Very disappointed.
