Anyone having issues with myfreecam recordings where the file only plays audio and no video? Using rtmpdumphelper, the file has an additional "a" in the filename whereas the normal vids dont have it. for example: 2019-09-05_07-33-09_mfc_a_103158614. Or any other ways to record mfc streams?

Download -- maybe, maybe not. Record it to save it -- almost certainly. A screen-recorder app (of which there are many, including some that I think are free) should be able to record pretty much anything that will display on your screen.

The resolution may be less, but at least you will have been able to grab it. This is probably better than nothing, at least until you may be able to chase it down some other way. (YouTube. Torrent ?)

Looks like an Adobe Connect + rtmp stream. Have tried Tubedigger + rtmpdump but to no avail. Any suggestions / help please?

I was able to get hold of one stream to download, but after inspection it it just a filler file with a false video (despite having same duration + decent file size). Any ideas?

For speech, I could find individual .flv files but they are all split into segments (01, 02, 03, 04), which last ~1 minute each. You also need to stream the entire video in order to retrieve the direct link for each segment - is there thus a way to automate this and/or extract all segments and combine them?
For pictures, I could find the .swf link but is there a way to automate/extract all pictures without having to save each manually?

As for the video, there is no way to extract this? Screen record is the only way?

That makes sense, thank you - appreciate your time looking into this! For the speech, what software did you use to extract that? I find the download speed of the direct link is very restrictive (200-300 bytes per second) using IDM.
