That RTMP is only trailer, not the full video. All the other streams are encrypted. Unfortunately the only solution is to use a screen recorder software like ChrisPC Screen Recorder: https://www.pcscreenrecorder.com/record_online_videos.html

I thought that most programs like JDownloader do only not support it because of legal restrictions, but that it is technically possible?

There's been a patch for jdownloader2 which had been removed. I thought, that it was possible to download rtmpe streams?

Or was that patch only for rtmp in general and rtmpe was never possible?

Looking for help in downloading some shows from NickJr

I've tried youtube-dl and RTMPE both to no avail.

The video doesn't seem to be encrypted but when I pulled the vid info with RTMP I was able to see there are several resolutions available to download. Of course I went with the highest quality but it looks like NickJr does something differently than most sites and splits the video into multiple segments in an effort to prevent ripping. If I watch the episode via the browser, it is a seamless transition so I am wondering how they are doing it.

So is it possible to download either of those videos? If so, would I then have to stitch together the files to create one MP4 or MKV?

Any help would be appreciated.

Hello! I came upon this forum, because I've been looking for different ways to download two videos from the MTV UK website for weeks now. Two years ago I was actually able to download original videos from MTV (not the UK one, but I assume they have the same protection on all of their websites?) with the program Video Download Capture, but it just doesn't work on MTV UK anymore, I guess, they "reinforced" their wall. I tried KeepVid Pro, but it doesn't work either, because it simply can't detect the video file. Also The Flash Video Downloader detects the video, it downloads it, it's actually 54 MB big but the file is corrupted, like, empty and it won't play because it doesn't have audio nor video codec. Also I checked the page info and the link to the video is just grey, it doesn't work. Ultimately I recorded the video with KeepVid Pro, but the quality is just not the same, there are skipped frames and I need it for gif-ing purposes on Photoshop. After all this blabbing, I hope I managed to somehow explain everything and I hope someone on here has an idea or can help downloading the videos, I'll leave the links below:

Usually when a video it's blocked on youtube, I hide my IP address, or change it with a proxy server, but those videos are on German websites and those changing IP address-servers just don't work on them.
